This post was probably an accident but like Mrs. Elliott tells us, I tried to keep thinking about it until I found something. I got nothing. But there must be a meaning to this. There must be a purpose to this blog, to this post, to this comment, to life! That's it! That's the purpose of this blog! It is simply inspiration to think and never give up. Derek, I would just like to say I love your motivation, and in reading your comment I began thinking about this mysterious question mark, that was surely a mistake. I agree with your idea of a question mark meaning to never stop thinking, but when I see a question mark I also think of questioning yourself, ensuring that you are living up to your full potential. I'm kidding. This blogger, and he/she being kept anonymous, makes me think that there is a type of boldness that comes from one who puts one simple character into a blog. A boldness that may pass on to other bloggers. Maybe we will see more mystery blogs.
A question mark? Really. Something as simple as this has actually made me think more about the meaning of the blog as any other blog I have read for english. A question mark can mean anything and everything you interpret it to be. My first thought when reading this was why did someone really post a simple question mark? Maybe because it can have infinite meaning applied to it. Very creative.
While some of these comments do indeed contain deep thinking, maybe the author tricked all of us. Being a part of this class, the author must have realized that all of the students are used to analyzing sentences, phrases, even words. By using this question mark, he would expect one to believe there are infinite possibilities, but maybe we are wrong. One can see or view the ? as anything they want it to mean. Anyone can comment on this blog and say its about questioning life or questioning one's abilities or even questioning the act of blogging. Maybe this was a statement to show us that the author thinks blogging is irrelevant, thus by duping us into believing there are many meanings for this ?. Maybe were just analyzing too much...
I'm on this team and I don't know why whoever wrote this put a question mark! If I had to guess anyone, it would be Chris... unless it really was an accident. If it was intentional, there isn't really an answer as to what the ? means unless one asked the author himself. We literally learn something new every week, which means there's always something to post. But I can totally get it if this was Chris, because he always spends class time instigating arguments with Mrs. Elliott. -Kaylynn
